GUIDELINES
Please submit ads in InDesign or Quark 4.11 (or lower) for Macintosh. Include all imported artwork and all screen and printer fonts.
We cannot accept ads created in Microsoft Software.
File Types:
- »InDesign 2.0 for Macintosh or Windows
- »Quark 4.11 for Macintosh or Windows (will be converted to InDesign)
- »Pagemaker 6.5 for Macintosh or Windows (will be converted to InDesign)
- »Illustrator (saved as EPS with all fonts converted to outline)
- »Freehand (saved as EPS), PDF's (to size with embedded postscript fonts)
- »Compressed files should be .sit or .sea
Color:
- »All colors must be created in the CMYK palette, and all spot color or RGB colors should be removed. This includes imported artwork.
- »Exact registration on newsprint is difficult to achieve; therefore, you might be more satisfied with the reproduction of colors created from a mixture of only two ink colors.
Fonts:
- »All printer and screen fonts should be Postscript. (If you use True Type fonts, they must be converted to outline).
Imported Artwork:
- »Please send all images at 200dpi to size. Lineart bitmap images should be 600 dpi.
- »We accept photos in TIFF format. Please save only images in TIFF format, do not include text.
Ad Deadline:
- »Monday at noon (same week issue) for space reservation and copy
