Eucharistic adoration fosters religious vocations
Archbishop Edwin F. O'Brien is encouraging parishes throughout the archdiocese to offer eucharistic adoration - especially as a way of fostering religious vocations. The following parishes offer perpetual (24-hour) or scheduled eucharistic adoration:
Allegany County
St. Mary, Cumberland - Every first Friday of the month from 12-1 p.m., and every Wednesday from 6-7 p.m.
Ss. Peter and Paul, Cumberland - Every Monday from 8 a.m.-2:30 p.m., and every Tuesday from 8:30 a.m.-noon.
Anne Arundel County
St. Andrew by the Bay, Annapolis - Adoration in the chapel every Friday after the 9 a.m. Mass until 3 p.m., concluding with benediction.
Church of the Holy Apostles, Gambrills - Every first Wednesday after 8:30 a.m. Mass, concluding with benediction at 6:30 p.m.
Church of the Crucifixion, Glen Burnie - Every first Friday from 7-10 p.m., hour of praise, worship, Scripture readings, silent hour and concluding with benediction.
Holy Family, Davidsonville - Adoration from 8 p.m. Wednesday to 8 a.m. Saturday in the chapel.
Holy Trinity, Glen Burnie - Every first Friday after the 9 a.m. Mass until 7 p.m. in the church, every Tuesday from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. in the parish center prayer room and every third Tuesday of the month after the 7 p.m. Mass until 8:30 p.m. in the church.
St. Lawrence Martyr, Jessup - Every first Friday from 7-8 p.m. during a Holy Hour with rosary, benediction and adoration.
St. Mary, Annapolis - Perpetual adoration. Open during daylight hours. Call parish to adore Eucharist at night.
Our Lady of the Fields, Millersville - Adoration from Thursday at 9 a.m. until Friday at 8:30 a.m.
Our Lady of Sorrows, West River - Every Tuesday (September-May from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and June-August from 10 a.m.-noon).

Shrine of St. Alphonsus, Baltimore - Monday through Saturday following the 7 a.m. Mass until 1 p.m. in the chapel.
St. Athanasius, Curtis Bay - Every first Friday of the month from 8-9 a.m. following Mass and every Friday during Advent and Lent from 8-9 a.m.
Basilica of the National Shrine of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Baltimore - Every Friday beginning with 12:10 p.m. Mass; exposition of the Blessed Sacrament at 12:35 p.m.; daytime prayer and rosary at 12:45 p.m.; private adoration at 1 p.m.; devotions to the Blessed Sacrament at 2 p.m.; private adoration at 2:15 p.m.; vespers and benediction beginning at 3:30 p.m.
St. Benedict, Baltimore - Every Wednesday from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m.
St. Casimir, Canton - Every Thursday from 9-9:30 p.m. in the chapel as part of the Liturgy of the Hours.
Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, Homeland - Every first Friday of the month from October to the month containing Corpus Christi Sunday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel. Adoration is also offered in the Eucharistic Adoration Chapel in the parish center, Monday-Friday from 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
St. Leo, Little Italy - Adoration and novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus every Friday following the 8 a.m. Mass.

St. Joseph, Sykesville - Perpetual adoration for parishioners. All others 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

St. Francis of Assisi, Brunswick - Every first Sunday of the month from 12-4 p.m.

St. Ignatius, Hickory - From Sunday at 7 a.m. until Monday at 7 a.m. in the historic church, and Monday-Friday between Masses from 8-8:45 a.m.
St. Joan of Arc, Aberdeen - Every second Monday of the month from 6-8 p.m. (September-June).
