Monsignor Jeremiah Kenney, a native of Waterbury, Connecticut, was a Holy Cross Teaching Brother from 1957-1969. He did his seminary studies at the Pontifical School of Theology, Catholic University of America, Washington D.C. and St. Mary's Seminary and University, Roland Park, Baltimore, Maryland. Ordained a priest on March 18, 1972, Pope John II elevated him to the dignity of Monsignor in the grade of Prelate of Honor His Holiness on February 10, 1990.
