The Catonsville-based All Saints Sisters of the Poor have developed a close bond with Cardinal-designate Edwin F. O’Brien. Just months ago, on Nov. 1, 2011, members of the formerly Episcopal Order made history when then Archbishop O’Brien received their religious community into the Catholic Church as a diocesan priory. The order is the first formerly Episcopal religious community to become Roman Catholic.
This week, the All Saints Sisters share their thoughts on visiting Rome for the first time and why they are looking forward to seeing Cardinal-designate O’Brien elevated to the College of Cardinals Feb. 18. Stay tuned to CatholicReview.org for more articles, video, photographs and audio as we provide coverage from Rome.
