‘Saints’ make an appearance in Dundalk
By Catholic Review Staff
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, St. Kateri Tekakwitha and St. John de Matha were among the “saints” who made a special appearance at Our Lady of Hope in Dundalk Nov. 1 when sixth graders from Our Lady of Hope-St. Luke School dressed as their favorite saints during a morning Mass on the Feast of All Saints.
The sixth graders will participate in a Nov. 6 retreat at St. Luke, Edgemere, where they will study the history of the Mass, take a tour of the church and bake unleavened bread. They will also learn about liturgical music and participate in a “teaching Mass.” The students will read picture books on the saints to pre-school students, and complete a service project and team-building activities.
