Catholic Review CEO and associate publisher Christopher Gunty is in Rome all week providing video and audio reports on the consistory. He sat down with Cardinal-designate Edwin F. O’Brien for an interview where he talks about his impending elevation and even has some hard-hitting thoughts on same-sex marriage as well.
Talking about Catholic governmental representatives supporting same-sex marriage, Cardinal-designate O’Brien said, “It concerns me. As their bishop, souls are at stake.”
