9:30 am – 3:30 pm
Guided By: Sr. Bernie Claps
Perhaps you feel that you are too busy to take time out for prayer and reflection. Busy, hectic lives don’t allow much time for quiet, let alone prayer and reflection. Yet, the need can be there and leave us feeling a sense of unease or longing. A quiet Day of Prayer, just setting aside one day to intentionally be with God, can be a way to help satisfy this longing. One Day with God is an opportunity to receive a little input, share with and listen to God, relax and be renewed. The atmosphere is one of reverent silence, including during lunch. We begin with reflective input provided by Sr. Bernie, followed by time for private prayer, walking the labyrinth or nature trails, journaling or just relaxing. This is a time for you to be alone with your thoughts during this Lenten season.
